Where credits appear, and where they do not
- The content kit does not use credits: each plan includes a number of kits per month (Starter 3, Growth 8, Scale 20).
- Extra kits, where offered, are one-time packs: 5 for $15 or 10 for $25.
- Cinematic Reels (AI-generated video) are the only part that uses extra credits. They are optional, not part of a kit or of the free trial, and the cost is shown before you confirm.
If you are coming from a credit-based studio
Tools such as Higgsfield sell generations: in most of their tools you choose a model, write a prompt and pay per image or clip in credits, and their help centre says subscription credits reset each billing cycle and top-up packs expire 90 days after purchase (read on 22 October 2026). Postly Media does not sell generations: it sells kits built from your website. If what you want is a shot-by-shot video studio, that is not what it is.
How it works
- Paste your website URL on postlymedia.com and answer a few short questions about your business.
- Start the free month with a payment card. Nothing is charged that day, and the trial includes 1 content kit.
- Review the kit, edit what you want to change and download the posts.
- Publish them on Instagram yourself. If you do not cancel first, the first charge is on day 31.
What Postly Media does not do
- It does not post to your Instagram account for you: you download the posts and publish them yourself.
- Cinematic Reels (AI-generated video) are not part of a content kit or of the free trial: they are an optional add-on that uses extra credits.
- The content is generated by AI. Review and edit it before you publish it.
- It does not promise followers, leads or sales.
Questions and answers
Can I write my own prompt or pick a different model?
Not for the kit. You can edit any caption, regenerate a design and answer a few short questions about your business; the models and the prompts are handled for you. The one place you type an instruction is when you edit a scene of an optional Cinematic Reel (1 extra credit per scene), and even there the model is chosen for you.
Do I need any video skills?
No. The slideshow video in each kit is assembled for you from your post designs. The reel storyboard is a scene-by-scene plan you can record yourself or skip. Cinematic Reels, if you add them, are generated without filming.
What happens if one of those AI providers is down?
For the kit, the next model in the chain takes over automatically (for designs: Gemini, then Wan 2.7 Image, then Recraft V3). For a Cinematic Reel that fails to render, the credits rule is in the Terms of Service, section 9.10.
